Becky Read

Becky Read has over ten years of experience in human resources and is currently the Vice President of People at FocalPoint. Prior to their current role, Becky was an HR Advisor at Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and the Leader of People and Culture at Claims Consortium Group. In these positions, Becky was responsible for HR strategy, succession planning, GDPR, gender reporting, policy and procedure implementation, change management, and restructures. Becky began their career in the hospitality industry as a Managerial Internship at The Gresham Hotel and later worked as an Assistant Manager at Brookfield House. Becky has a proven track record of success in human resources and is passionate about developing people and culture within organizations.

Becky Read has a Chartered MCIPD in Human Resources Management and Services from CIPD Qualifications, a Diploma in Recruitment Management from the Recruitment Employment Confederation, a Level 5 CIPD HRM in Human Resource Management from CIPD Qualifications, a BSc Hons in International Hospitality Management from Oxford Brookes University, and they studied French, Geography and Business Studies at Queens College, Taunton.

Becky Read reports to Scott Pomerantz, CEO. They work with Manuel Del Castillo - VP, Business Development, Ramsey Faragher - Founder, President & CTO, and Martin Stephenson - CFO.
