Laurence Bennett

Laurence Bennett has a professional background in software engineering, teaching, and research. In 2022, Laurence worked as a Software Engineer - MATLAB at FocalPoint. They were responsible for developing software using MATLAB.

From 2018 to 2020, Laurence held a teaching and demonstrating role at the University of Southampton. They served as a teaching assistant for a Mathematics for Scientists course and also worked as a marker for a mathematics course for first-year engineering students.

In 2019, Laurence had a research visit at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. They collaborated with Professor Juan Anta's group, receiving training in conducting and analyzing impedance measurements. Laurence also worked with Antonio Riquelme to develop a simulation tool.

Laurence Bennett earned a Master's degree in Physics with Mathematics from the University of Southampton, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from 2017 to 2022.
