Mandar Dange

Mandar Dange has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mandar is the Founder and CEO of FOCUS451, a compliance engine for businesses that ensures proactive enforcement of legally required documents. Mandar successfully designed and launched a SaaS product with subscription paying clients. Previously, they were a Business Owner and Multi-unit Franchisee at Massage Envy, where they built two new retail locations from the ground up and managed marketing, advertising, operations, and P&L. As President and COO of GotCause, they brought together a team to create a SaaS offering that generated revenue and foot traffic for local businesses through prepaid vouchers. At Sun Microsystems, Mandar Dange served as a Product Line Manager, leading strategic marketing and driving successful acquisitions of data center technologies. As a Business Development Manager at HP, they executed new business development in the networking systems segment and led the creation of business unit strategy and marketing plans. Mandar also served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Mitsubishi Electronics America, managing a portfolio of ASICs and achieving recognition as "Supplier of the Year" for providing high-level customer support and winning new designs.

Mandar Dange has a diverse education history. In 1984, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Mandar then pursued further education and completed an enrolled Ph.D. program in Physics at Kansas State University from 1986 to 1987.

In the field of Engineering, Mandar earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) from Case Western Reserve University from 1987 to 1989.

Later on, they ventured into business studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Finance from the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, attending from 1994 to 1996.

More recently, in 2019, Mandar attended Harvard University, where they completed a certificate program in Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age.

Additionally, Mandar has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. In 1990, they became a Private Pilot certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. Furthermore, in 2018, they completed the course "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook" offered by LinkedIn. In 2019, they acquired the certifications "Business-to-Business Sales" from LinkedIn, "AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate 2019" from A Cloud Guru, and "Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age" from Harvard's Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, in association with HarvardX.
