John Azlant has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. John started their career in 1989 as the Senior Vice President Finance and CFO at Pegasus Gold. From there, they moved on to become the Senior Vice President Corporate Development at Echo Bay Mines Ltd in 1993. In 1998, John joined Connections Advisory Services as a Principal Consultant, where they provided advice to clients on their business models and established crucial metrics for success. In 2009, they became an Adjunct Professor at Walsh University, teaching finance courses. Currently, John works at FocusCFO as a Fractional CFO and also briefly served as the CFO.

John Azlant attended Babson College from 1964 to 1967, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance. John then pursued further education at Widener University from 1974 to 1976, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance.
