Mike Bülters

Mike Bülters has extensive work experience in the field of optics and engineering. Mike is currently the Head of Focuslight CORE (European Center for Optics and Engineering) Corporate R&D at Focuslight Technologies Inc. Since joining in 2022, they have been leading the research and development efforts of the company. Previously, from 2015 to 2022, Bülters worked at temicon GmbH, where they served as the Head of Product Development and later as the R&D Manager for Products & Processes. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2015, they held the position of Head of Group Micro-/Nano Optics at BIAS - Bremer Institut für angewandte Strahltechnik GmbH. Bülters started their career as a Research Scientist at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2005 to 2010.

Mike Bülters attended TU Dortmund University from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Elektrotechnik, specifically a Diplomingenieur.
