Mr. Greg Pearson is the Founder, President, and CEO of FocusPoint International. Greg is an industry veteran with over 30 years of proven experience in the security and risk management space. Greg has successfully led diverse teams engaged in executing critical missions for both public and private organizations, operating globally in well over 120 countries. Greg’s experience and exposure include living and working overseas while serving in rapid deployment units as a non-commissioned officer in the US Army; as a law enforcement officer with the State of California; and as an executive engaged in scaling businesses through strategic mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth.

Greg has a passion for scaling growth-oriented businesses, product innovation, and market disruption. Core competencies and areas of focus center on crisis management, with an emphasis on advising and responding to matters related to kidnap for ransom, extortion, political risks, and travel risk management. Greg is the chief architect of the company’s highly successful “Care and Assistance Plus” (CAP) and “Global Overwatch & Rescue” (O&R) products. These disruptive products were created to address mobility risks, with CAP focused on travel risks and O&R focused on incident management and emergency response.

Greg earned his education in crisis management and strategic leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He is a frequent speaker and has written and contributed to articles on travel risk management, security implications in emerging markets, kidnap for ransom, and crisis management. He is a member of several industry-specific trade organizations and a constituent of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).
