Jason Burton

Jason Burton is currently a Solution Architect at FocustApps. Jason has previous experience working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognizant from October 2015 to February 2018, where they worked with C#, Visual Studio 2010, TFS, SQL Server, ASP.NET, WCF, Javascript, and XML. Jason also has experience working as a Programmer Analyst III at Trizetto Provider Solutions from December 2009 to June 2013, where they again worked with C#, Visual Studio 2010, TFS, SQL Server, ASP.NET, WCF, Javascript, and XML. In addition, Jason has experience as a Software Engineer at Healthx from June 2015 to October 2015.

Prior to their work in the software engineering field, Jason was the IT Director at Quantum Health Automation from September 2002 to December 2009 where they were responsible for the design and implementation of new technologies. Jason worked with various programming languages including ASP, Visual Foxpro, MySQL, PHP, Perl, .NET, and IIS. Jason is well-skilled in problem solving.

Jason has also had experience working as a Solutions Architect at Redstitch Digital from February 2018 to October 2021 and as a Podcast Host at Evansville Podcast from December 2013 to July 2019. Jason began their programming career as a Java Programmer at American General Finance from January 2000 to December 2002 and then as a Programmer at marchFIRST from January 2000 to December 2000.

Jason Burton's educational career began with him earning their A.S. in Business Admin w/MIS option from Vincennes University. Jason then went on to earn their certification from Microsoft in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. After that, they earned their certification from Kryterion, Inc. in Sitecore 9.0 Certified Platform Associate Developer. Most recently, they have been working towards their Field: Applied Computer Science from the University of Southern Indiana.

Jason Burton works with Kevin Meyers - Director of Application Development, Oguz Magden - QA Engineer, and Braden Fullington - Software Developer. Their manager is Chris Hawkins, Co-President.
