About

At FocusWorks, we partner with organisations to strengthen careers and employability practice.

We help organisations build confident, reflective careers and employability professionals who deliver consistently high-quality career guidance.

Career development doesn’t stand still. Labour markets change, client needs evolve, and expectations of careers provision continue to grow. Yet many organisations struggle to find practical, meaningful ways to support practitioners once they’ve completed their qualification.

That’s where we come in.

As a practice improvement partner, FocusWorks combines practical CPD, coaching-informed development, reflective practice, quality assurance and quality improvement to help organisations strengthen professional confidence, improve consistency and embed high-quality careers practice.

We believe that consistency creates quality. By developing practitioners’ confidence, reflective skills and coaching capability, organisations can create career conversations that have a lasting impact for every client.

We work with organisations delivering CEIAG across:

• Schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts
• Careers Hubs and local authority services
• Employability and skills providers
• Higher education careers services
• Independent careers guidance organisations

Our services include:

• CPD workshops
• Coaching and reflective practice
• Team development
• Quality assurance and improvement
• Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) services
• Practical resources to support everyday practice

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your team’s confidence, improve consistency across your provision, assure the quality of practice or develop a culture of continuous improvement, we’d love to work with you.
