Markus Haeberlein

Markus Haeberlein is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Discovery Science at FogPharma, Markus previously held key leadership positions at Alkermes, including Senior Vice President and Head of Research, as well as Vice President roles overseeing Research and Discovery. As Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Proteostasis Therapeutics, Markus contributed significantly to scientific advancements. Prior experience at AstraZeneca included roles such as Executive Director, leading the Global Chemistry Network and Medicinal Chemistry, and various associate director positions. Markus began their career as a Computational Chemist at Astra Arcus. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physical Chemistry/Computational Chemistry and an MSc in Physical Chemistry/Biochemistry/Organic Chemistry, both from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
