The Research and Development team at FOI focuses on advancing technologies and strategies in defense and security. This multidisciplinary team conducts cutting-edge research in areas including submarine technology, explosive substances, aviation systems, IT security, radar, laser and other sensor systems, and protection against hazardous substances. By performing threat assessments and security policy analyses, the team contributes to developing sophisticated solutions to enhance national and regional security.
