Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include serving as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry harvester units. Additionally, Chris gained academic experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
