Folkestone Nepalese Community (FNC) is a dedicated non-profit organisation committed to supporting, empowering, and uniting the Nepalese community in Folkestone and beyond. Our mission is to preserve Nepalese heritage, promote cultural exchange, and provide vital social support to ensure the well-being and integration of our members within the wider community.

Our Vision & Mission
✅ Gurkha Veterans & Their Families – Advocating for the welfare, rights, and well-being of Gurkha veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the support and recognition they deserve.
✅ Community Support – Providing essential services, advice, and resources for Nepalese families, elderly individuals, and newcomers.
✅ Cultural Preservation – Organising events, festivals, and workshops to celebrate Nepalese traditions, language, and identity.
✅ Social Inclusion – Bridging generations, promoting diversity, and fostering connections with local and national organisations.
✅ Wellbeing & Welfare – Supporting members with health, education, employment, and housing assistance.
✅ Education & Research – Partnering with universities, the NHS, and other educational organisations to conduct research, develop programs, and promote lifelong learning opportunities.

Through our collaborations with academic institutions, healthcare providers, and local authorities, we work towards improving access to education, healthcare, and community resources for our members. We strive to create a home away from home where Nepalese values thrive, voices are heard, and opportunities for growth are accessible to all.
