Justin Kohn is an experienced animation professional, currently serving as an Animation Supervisor at Fonco Creative Services since December 2011. Kohn has a diverse background in stop-motion animation, having worked as an animator at Laika Entertainment on projects such as "Coraline," and at Skellington Productions, Inc. during the 1990s. Additionally, Kohn has been a freelance clay animator since 2010 and has contributed to the education of future animators as a teacher at the Academy of Arts University since 2009. Kohn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Cinema from the University of Miami, completed in 1976.

Fonco was founded in 1997 in San Francisco by Fon Davis as a design and fabrication studio specializing in miniatures and special effects. Over the two decades Fonco has been joined by an amazingly diverse, creative and driven group of artists, many of whom have worked for companies including Lucasfilm, ILM, Digital Domain and Disney.
