Maan RK

Maan RK has four years of professional experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. From 2021 to present, they have been a Senior Data Engineer at Fond, where they are involved in creating, debugging, scheduling, and monitoring jobs using Airflow and Oozie, as well as moving raw data between different systems using Apache Nifi. Maan is also responsible for building scalable distributed data solutions using Hadoop and Spark with Scala. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Data Engineer at Nielsen, where they implemented an ETL platform using Mark Logic for mainframe to NoSQL data transfer, utilized Enterprise data lake for various use cases, and exported analyzed data to relational databases using Sqoop for BI team reporting. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Data Engineer at Amazon, where they were responsible for design and implementation of Data Management solutions using the Big Data platform on Cloudera or Hortonworks, and used cloud shell SDK in GCP to configure the services Data Proc, Storage, and Big Query. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Data Analyst at New York Life Insurance Company, where they were responsible for communicating status, issues, and risks to management and the relevant project teams, gathering and effectively organizing data from multiple sources for engineering analysis, creating new databases in SQL Server, and maintaining documentation for Hadoop-based systems.
