Marc-André Binette

Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Fondaction

Marc-André Binette has extensive work experience in the field of investment and real estate. Marc-André started their career at Real Estate-Infrastructure as a Business Lawyer in 1994. Marc-André then joined Beauward Immobilier in 1997 as the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2012, Marc-André worked at Groupe Maestro-Management, first as the Senior Director of Investment and later as the Senior Director of Integration. In 2012, they joined Fondaction as a Portfolio Manager for Real Estate and Fund of Funds, a role they held until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Real Estate and Fund of Funds at Fondaction. Since October 2019, Marc-André has held the position of Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Fondaction.

Marc-André Binette holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business/Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke, which they completed in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Licence professionnelle in Droit from école du Barreau in 1994. In 1992, they received their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law from the Université de Sherbrooke.
