The music you love came from someone.

Not an algorithm. Not a playlist curated by a server in a data centre. Someone you trust - a friend, a critic, a fellow obsessive - who heard something and had to share it.

Fonica is a music review and discovery app built on that idea. We're the place where people who actually care about music come to log what they've listened to, share what they think, and discover what's next - through the people they trust, not the feeds that feed them.

Human curation, real opinions, signal over noise.

We're in beta now - available on iOS - and building toward something that puts people back at the centre of music culture. Not passive listeners. Not engagement metrics. People with taste, history, and something worth saying.

The best recommendation you ever got didn't come from an app. It came from someone who knew you.

That's what we're building.
