Simon Botfield

Simon Botfield is an experienced event management professional with a strong background in coordinating and executing various events across multiple companies. Currently serving as Event Manager at Fonoa since March 2025, Simon previously held the position of Senior Marketing Manager, Events at Avalara from October 2023 to May 2025. Prior to that, Simon worked as Event Manager at Zellis from February 2021 to October 2023 and as Events Manager at MATRIXX Software from April 2018 to April 2020, where responsibilities included managing global events end-to-end, from planning to execution and KPI reporting. Additionally, Simon gained valuable experience at Cognizant, serving as Event Manager from March 2016 to March 2018, where responsibilities included the planning and execution of large-scale conferences and tradeshows across Europe, focusing on logistics, project management, and budget oversight.
