Fontanafredda

In the heart of the Piedmont of wine - in the Langhe hills - the road of castles and vineyards for great wines leads to Fontanafredda, the winery set up by Vittorio Emanuele II in 1858 and then donated to Rosa Vercellana, the Bela Rusin. With 95 hectares of vineyards (Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato) in the municipalities of Serralunga d'Alba, Barolo, Diano d'Alba, Dogliani, La Morra and Murisengo, Fontanafredda is undoubtedly one of the evocative sceneries of all the Langhe. The history of Fontanafredda as a winery began in 1878, thanks to the farsightedness and passion of Emanuele Guerrieri Conte di Mirafiore, the son of the king and Bela Rusin who dedicated himself to wine with an absolutely modern approach. Since then, up to the present day the company has never stopped bringing to the world the excellence of a land like the Langhe, respecting its origins and traditions.
