Mike Bourke

Mike Bourke has extensive experience in health and safety roles, primarily at Fonterra, where involvement spans over two decades and includes positions such as Sie H&S Advisor and H&S Advisor, along with managing the Fonterra Trade & Operations Safety Leadership Programme. Bourke's career in health and safety began as a site-based HS Coordinator and progressed to Waikato Regional H&S Advisor, where responsibilities included hazard management, injury prevention and management, contractor oversight, and training. Additionally, Bourke served as H&S Manager for Balloons over Waikato and as National H&S Advisor for Fletcher Building. Early career roles included maintenance positions at BHP NZ Steel and Electricorp, and a foundational apprenticeship with NZ Railways. Education was completed at Wanganui Boys College.
