Stuart Sorrell

Stuart Sorrell is an experienced professional in the fields of research and development, quality assurance, and analytical testing, currently serving as the R&D Pilot Plant Manager at Fonterra since December 2012, overseeing teams focused on chromatography and microscopy within an IANZ accredited analytical testing environment. Prior roles include serving as the NPPA Coordinator at PHARMAC, where responsibilities involved processing funding applications for rare medications, and holding positions such as Quality Assurance Manager at New Zealand Pharmaceuticals Limited and Analytical Services Team Leader at Boots UK Ltd. Stuart's career also includes volunteer work as the Convenor for the Palmerston North High School Old Boys Junior Rugby Club. Stuart holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University, completed in 2000.
