For over 15 years our community-powered organization has been picking up excess food from grocery stores, restaurants and offices and delivering it to organizations that feed those in need around Los Angeles.  

While millions of Angelenos are food insecure, we're throwing away 40% of our fresh food. We could feed every hungry person in LA with the surplus that currently ends up in landfills.

On top of that, food waste is a top contributor to climate change.

FoodCycle LA is working to reduce hunger and GHG emissions by creating a network of donors, volunteers, and recipients that turns excess goods into meals for those that need it most.
