William Coates

William Coates has a long and varied work experience. William began their career in 2000 as a Senior Developer at Quintessential Ideas LTD. In 2003, they moved on to become a Senior Developer at Ch5 Finland Oy. In 2005, they were employed as a Senior Software Engineer at European Game and Entertainment Technology. In 2007, they joined Retail Logistics Excellence as a Technical Project Manager. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as Co-founder and CEO of Web Shaped Development, where they implemented web shaped solutions using Ruby on Rails, Node. js and HTML5. In 2014, they were CTO at meXBT / Crypto Exchange of the Americas. In 2013, they joined Beatsy as CTO, initially as a tech consultant via Web Shaped. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been CTO and VP Engineering at Fooji.

William Coates received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex in 2001. William then continued their studies at the University of Sussex and received their Master of Science (MSc) in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems in 2003.
