Michele Buring

Michele Buring holds a Master of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from The University of Alabama. Currently a Travel Advisor at Fora Travel since April 2023, Michele enjoys crafting itineraries and fulfilling client travel dreams. As a Board Member of the Memphis-Shoham Partnership Steering Committee since July 2018, Michele works to strengthen connections between Memphis and Shoham, Israel. Additionally, Michele has served as an intern at Serving Memphis since September 2012, integrating wellness into the local hospitality industry, and volunteers with the Jewish Foundation of Memphis, facilitating cultural enrichment for visiting Israeli scouts and Caravan members. Other notable experiences include roles as a Health Educator at Healthy Here, an intern for the MJCC Macabbi Games, and Field Operations Coordinator at Ducks Unlimited. Previous employment also includes Sweet Lala’s bakery, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement and service.
