Previously, from August 2008 to June 2025, Ryan held multiple roles at Rio Tinto, including Operations and Maintenance Manager, where leadership spanned diverse teams and projects, significantly improving operational efficiencies and implementing management systems. Ryan possesses a comprehensive educational background, holding an MBA from Athabasca University, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University, and diplomas in Mechanical Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology from British Columbia Institute of Technology and Lakehead University, respectively.
