Jon Kell

Jon Kell has over 25 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Jon began their career as a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) at BioChambers in 1997 and worked there until 2000. Jon then joined F.A. Roberts & Associates as a Consulting Engineer from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, Jon moved to Manitoba Hydro where they held multiple positions, including Team Lead - Civil Design (Transmission), Section Head - Civil Design (Transmission), Acting Manager - Transmission and Civil Design Department, and Manager - Transmission Overhead and Civil Engineering. Jon worked at Manitoba Hydro until 2022. In 2022, Jon joined Forbes Bros. Group of Companies as an Engineering Manager, and in 2023, they were promoted to the role of VP Technical Services.

Jon Kell has a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Manitoba, which they obtained by the year 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution between the years 1993 and 1998. Additionally, they have specialized in Welding Engineering through training at the Canadian Welding Bureau.
