Mark Travers, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Psychologist at Awake Therapy since April 2020. In addition, Mark contributes to Forbes and blogs for Psychology Today, both roles initiated in 2019 and 2015 respectively. Prior experience includes positions at Burke, Inc. as an Account Executive and Analyst, along with a role as a Behavioral Science Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2010 to 2015. Mark's career began as an Outreach Coordinator for The Education Abroad Network and as Co-Founder of Cafe Abroad. A graduate of Cornell University with a BA in Psychology (Magn Cum Laude), Mark furthered education with an MA and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
