Michael Thornton

Michael Thornton is a seasoned professional in executive protection and security, currently serving as a Global Executive Protection Consultant and Security Professional at Forbes since January 2000. Prior to this role, Michael spent 14 years at Caterpillar Inc. as a Global Executive Protection & Executive Security Event Manager, where responsibilities included managing executive security for events and developing protection programs for high-level executives. Michael founded Global Protection Inc. and served as President of the International Security Advisor's Association from January 2001 to June 2006.
