Peter Greene

Peter Greene is an experienced educator and writer with a diverse background in journalism and teaching. Currently serving as a Senior Contributor at Forbes since June 2018, Greene also holds positions as an Education Fellow and Writer for The Progressive Magazine and as CEO, Bloggist, and Chief Bottle Washer for Curmudgucation, both of which began in 2015 and 2013, respectively. Additionally, Greene has been a columnist for Venango Newspapers Inc. since 1998, providing weekly commentary for the News-Herald and Derrick. Prior to these roles, Greene was an English Teacher at Franklin Area High School from August 1980 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English, both earned at Allegheny College between 1975 and 1981.
