Nat Kolber

Fellow

Nat Kolber is a Ph.D. candidate in the Gao Lab at Stanford University, where they build tools for smarter genetic medicines and have invented foundational IP for a VC-backed therapeutics company. As an Emerson Consequential Scholar and NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Nat has held teaching assistantships and contributed significantly to their field. They previously worked as a Research Associate at the Broad Institute, engineering bacterial ribosomes for novel functions. Nat currently serves as a Fellow at Forbion and is also a Scientist-in-residence at Civilization Ventures, furthering their impact in the biotechnology sector. They hold a Master's degree in Bioengineering from Stanford and a Bachelor's degree in Classical Studies with highest honors in Biochemistry from Smith College.
