Simone Mancini

Simone Mancini, PhD, is a CFD Consultant at FORCE Technology since February 2020, specializing in the assessment of hydrodynamic Energy Saving Devices' performance improvement. Additionally, Simone serves as an Associate Professor of Naval Architecture at the University of Naples Federico II since May 2023 and has been a Contract Professor of Principles of Flight at Università degli Studi Giustino Fortunato - Telematica from September 2015 to September 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Technical Manager and Technical Lead at Marina Militare Italiana, where responsibilities encompassed the technical management of hull services and auxiliary systems. Simone holds a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics for Marine Applications/Naval Architecture from the University of Naples Federico II, with research focused on CFD simulations for unconventional ships. Educational background includes a Laurea Specialistica in Naval Engineering and a Laurea di I livello in Naval Engineering, complemented by a classical studies diploma.
