Stephan Berger

Stephan Berger is a Naval Architect with a doctorate in engineering, specializing in hydrodynamics of ships and propulsion systems, as well as marine underwater radiated noise. With over eight years of research and development experience across academic and industrial sectors, they have excelled in planning and executing joint projects while leading teams to tackle complex challenges under tight deadlines. Currently, as a Senior Team Lead at FORCE Technology, they oversee a group of numerical specialists in ship hydrodynamics and wind flow. Previously, they held senior engineer positions at MAN Energy Solutions and worked as a research engineer at Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg, where they focused on propeller design and hydrodynamics. Berger's education includes a Dr.-Ing. and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Shipbuilding/Naval Architecture from Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg.
