Akiba Sato is a software engineer with extensive experience in the full software life-cycle, currently working at Forcepoint since January 2021 and at KAB Laboratories, Inc. since December 2018. Akiba has led the development of a lightweight UI and data processing application for satellite communication situational awareness. Prior experience includes serving as a head teaching assistant and TA for various programming and computational courses at Brandeis University from June 2017 to May 2018, as well as working as a lab technician at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2014 to August 2016, where research focused on the interplay of immune mechanisms in chronic allergic dermatitis. Akiba holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Biology, and East Asian Studies from Brandeis University.
