Luiz Faro

Luiz Faro is a seasoned professional in the field of sales engineering with extensive experience in cybersecurity and data protection. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sales Engineering for The Americas at Forcepoint since October 2018, Luiz has held various leadership positions including Systems Engineer Manager at RSA Security and multiple roles at Symantec, where the focus was on addressing data loss and identity trust challenges. Luiz's career includes experience as Territory Manager at Avocent and Systems Engineer at LANDesk, as well as foundational roles at Sisgraph and Intergraph. Educational qualifications include a BS in Telecommunication Engineering from USP, an MBA from FGV, and specialized programs in Cybersecurity from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University. Luiz is advancing professional development through a Business Administration program at Fundação Dom Cabral, scheduled for completion in December 2024.
