Luz Diaz

Luz Diaz is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading projects and teams within the cybersecurity industry. Currently a Principal Software Engineer at Forcepoint, LLC, since February 2016, Luz focuses on product configuration, UX design, backend APIs, and project management requirements. Previously at Intel Corporation from February 2011 to January 2016, Luz led a team of 8 engineers to integrate critical features into a new firewall product. Prior experience includes significant contributions at McAfee, where Luz improved report generation efficiency, and roles at Secure Computing and CyberGuard, where Luz developed UI and backend solutions for firewall management systems and established a test automation framework. Early career experience includes an analyst position at Convergys - Development Solutions from 1997 to 2000.
