Mike Silbersack is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in network security. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Forcepoint LLC since January 2016, Mike's role continues from prior work at Intel Security, where Mike contributed to the acquisition of Sidewinder and Stonesoft. Before this, Mike held various engineering positions at McAfee from June 2006 to January 2016, including Principal Engineer and Development Engineer. Mike also worked as an IT Instructor at ITT Technical Institute from 2003 to 2006 and completed an embedded programming internship at Elsyn, Inc. in 1998. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, respectively.
