Prashant Kumar

Prashant Kumar is a Senior Researcher at Forcepoint, focusing on developing analytics for email and URLs, as well as researching the latest malware campaigns and producing technical analysis reports. Prior to this role, Prashant served as Security Researcher 3, specializing in email security and rule creation for cloud and on-premise customers at the same company. At Mindtree, Prashant held several positions including Cyber Security Analyst, where responsibilities included URL and file annotations and resolving false negatives, and Malware Analyst, focusing on analyzing malware and writing signatures based on file behavior. As a Malware Response Coordinator, Prashant facilitated communication regarding malware detections with customers.
