Risto Mononen

Risto Mononen is a seasoned professional in software engineering and product management, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Product Architect at Forcepoint since 2016. Previous experience includes roles as Product Architect at Intel Security and McAfee, where Risto focused on firewall, IPS, and VPN feature specifications and steering R&D projects. Risto has also held positions as Director at Notava, Consultant at Monoplan, and Product Manager at Nokia Siemens Networks, among others. A robust educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and participation in the Global Manager Program at Aalto University.
