Thanh Bui

Thanh Bui is a Principal Security Researcher at Forcepoint, specializing in vulnerability research for the Next Generation Firewall since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Security Specialist at Nordea, focusing on the security of the Netbank system and developing security development lifecycle practices. At Nixu Corporation, Bui worked as a Security Consultant, performing threat modeling and penetration testing for a variety of projects. Early career roles include software engineering internships at Google, where work involved enhancing Gmail security and testing crypto APIs. Bui holds a PhD in Information Security from Aalto University and has extensive educational credentials in security and mobile computing from multiple prestigious institutions.
