Johan van Blerk

Johan van Blerk is a Principal Consultant and QSA at Foregenix, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, Johan served as a Principal Information Security Consultant at SKY TV New Zealand from 2017 to 2020 and worked at Axenic Ltd as a Qualified Security Assessor from 2020 to 2024. Their extensive experience in information security includes roles as Security Assurance Manager at Vodafone and Head of Security for Barclays Africa. Johan has earned multiple certifications, including Certified Information Security Practitioner (CISSP) from ISC2 in 2023 and has a Bachelor's degree in Security Risk Management from the University of South Africa.
