Alexandra Sharp is the writer of Foreign Policy’s flagship daily newsletter, World Brief. They previously held positions as a deputy copy editor at Foreign Policy, where they edited and fact-checked digital content, and conducted threat analysis for Genocide Watch. Alexandra launched a podcast series and has reported on various topics for outlets such as Washington Monthly, the BBC, and CBS. A Chicago native, they studied magazine journalism and international studies at the University of Missouri and were awarded the Aspen Ideas Ifill Fellowship in 2023 and the Penn Kemble Fellowship in 2024.
