FAST evaluators undertake comprehensive, evidence-driven forensic evaluations that address criminal, civil, employment, immigration, probate, and other administrative law questions. Each evaluator has extensive expertise and receives support to ensure their work aligns with rigorous best practices. Common referral questions include, but are by no means limited to: 

CRIMINAL:
- Competence to proceed to trial and other forms of adjudicative competence
- Competence to waive rights (e.g., Miranda, counsel, plea), be sentenced, or represent oneself
- Retrospective competence evaluations
- Mental state at the time of the alleged offense (e.g., NGRI, diminished capacity)
- Criminal responsibility and mitigating considerations
- Violence risk and risk of recidivism
- Suggestibility and false confession risk
- Diagnostic formulation, response validity analysis, and treatment recommendations
- Juvenile transfer/waiver evaluations
