Brian Z.

Brian Z. has been working in software engineering since 2014. Brian began their career at Braintree, where they worked as a Software Engineer until 2018. During this time, they worked on various systems related to onboarding merchants primarily in Ruby on Rails and Clojure, as well as Javascript/React and Java/Spring. Brian also gained experience in API Design, Docker/containerization, and designing a service oriented architecture. In 2018, Brian Z. moved to Kenna Security, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2020. Brian currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Forerunner.

Brian Z. began their educational journey at College of DuPage from 2009 to 2011, where they completed general education courses. Brian then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at North Central College from 2011 to 2014.
