Cole Wilson

Cole Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Cole began their career at Bluefin Technology Group as a Technical Support Specialist, where they provided expert guidance and support for technical issues and implementation projects. Cole then progressed to the role of Junior System Administrator, where they implemented new technologies and consolidated client IT infrastructure. Later, as a Network Operations Center Administrator, Cole developed standards, procedures, and security policies to modernize clients' networks and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Cole joined Forescout Technologies Inc. as a Cyber Security Instructor, delivering training courses to industry professionals and government/military personnel on the implementation and maintenance of Forescout Network Access Control (NAC) product. Cole also worked as a Security Architect, developing automation-based security solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense/DISA Comply-to-Connect (C2C) Program and integrating complex systems.

Currently, at Upstart Cyber, Cole holds the role of Information Security and Compliance Officer | Director, Managed Services. Cole oversees the operations of various departments, including pre-sales engineering, cybersecurity services, risk management, and account management.

Throughout their career, Cole has demonstrated a strong understanding of cybersecurity strategies and the implementation of advanced technologies to enhance security posture and mitigate risks.

- Bachelor of Science - BS in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University (2020 - 2022)

- Associate's degree in Information Technology from Florida State College at Jacksonville (2017 - 2018)

- Associate's degree from Tallahassee Community College (2016 - 2017)

- High School Diploma from St. Augustine High School (2012 - 2016)
