John Adams

John Adams has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Reliability Engineer and Asset Systems Leader at DuPont, where they were responsible for increasing plant reliability and leading major capital projects. From 2001 to 2011, they held various roles at Nortel, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Session Border Controller Architect. During this time, they were involved in designing and implementing high availability software for Voice over IP networks. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the VoIP Media Server Architect at Genband, leading the release of new software and developing voice applications. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Avaya, initially as a VoIP Client Architect and later as the Director of Software Engineering and Senior Development Manager. In these roles, they led large development teams, deployed multiple mobile applications, and championed Agile software development.
