Brian Rose

Brian Rose has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Brian started their career as an Accounting Intern at the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008. Later, they worked as a Senior Auditor and Manager at Calibre CPA Group PLLC, specializing in financial audits for nonprofit organizations. In 2012, they became a Manager and Senior Auditor at Mitchell & Titus, LLP, where they focused on assurance engagements in the nonprofit sector.

In 2015, Brian joined the New York Genome Center, taking on roles such as Accounting Manager, Grants Accounting Manager, Senior Manager, and finally, Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. In these positions, they handled budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting responsibilities for federal and private awards, as well as research and faculty financial administration.

Brian's career then transitioned to Genapsys, where they served as Director of Finance, responsible for financial strategy, financial modeling, budgeting, and external fundraising. Brian played a crucial role in the financial restructuring of the organization, leading to the formation of Sequencing Health, where they continued in the Director of FP&A and Strategic Finance role.

Most recently, Brian joined Foresight Diagnostics Inc. as the Director of Finance in 2023.

Brian Rose earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Penn State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Brian also obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy in January 2012, the AICPA in January 2011, and the District of Columbia Board of Accountancy in March 2012.
