Joe Linney

Joe Linney possesses extensive experience in asset management and consultancy within the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving in part-time consultancy and directorship roles at Foresight Group since July 2019, Joe Linney previously held the position of Head of Portfolio Asset Management at JLEN Fund under John Laing Capital Management Limited from August 2018 to June 2019. A long tenure at John Laing spanned from August 2004 to July 2018, where roles included Asset Director for Renewable Energy and Operations Director. Prior to John Laing, Joe Linney was General Manager on a notable Glasgow City Council PPP project at Miller Construction from January 2002 to August 2004, and held the position of Operations Director at BAM PPP for over a decade. Joe Linney began a career as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at GA Construction from 1983 to 1990, following education that culminated in an MRICS accreditation in Quantity Surveying.
