Matthew Kay

Matthew Kay is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience spanning various roles in sales, operations, and recruitment. Since July 2020, Matthew has been serving as the Senior Business Development Manager at Foresight Group. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Sales and Account Manager at VELOCITY UK LIMITED from February 2015 to December 2019, managing a large geographical area and driving new business development initiatives. Matthew also played a key role in the operational development of a start-up as a Recruitment Manager at Taylor Davenport and served as the Director of Operations at AVC Weeeco Ltd, overseeing compliant electrical waste collections. Matthew holds a BSc in Applied Biology (Hons) with a focus on Cellular Biology from Newcastle University and has a solid foundation in science from Merchiston Castle School.
