Oliver Bates

Oliver Bates is an experienced finance professional specializing in structured credit solutions across real estate, hard asset, and financial asset markets. Currently serving as Investment Director for Private Credit at Foresight Group since May 2020, Oliver has held roles including Senior Private Debt Manager and Private Debt Manager. Prior to this, Oliver gained expertise at Société Générale as an Associate in Leveraged Finance, and at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi as a Corporate Credit Analyst. Other notable positions include Fund Accountant at Cairn Capital and Product Control for Structured Credit at Bank of America. Oliver began a career in finance as a Corporate Finance Analyst intern at Catalyst Corporate Finance. Educational credentials include a BA in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
