Simon Dawson

Simon Dawson has worked for Foresite Cybersecurity since 2015, beginning as a Security Analyst and progressing to Security Analyst II, Lead Security Analyst, Senior Security Analyst, and MDR Technical Lead. Prior to this, they worked for Projectfive from 2012 to 2015 as an IT Support Engineer, where they took support calls and escalated them as needed. Simon also acted as the technical lead for one of their biggest clients and an ongoing upgrade project.

Simon Dawson has a comprehensive education history, with a focus on Information Technology. Simon completed a Higher National Diploma in I.C.T. Practitioners at Basingstoke College of Technology from 2006 to 2010. Simon then attended the University of Gloucestershire from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an I.C.T. General (Top up Degree). Simon furthered their studies at The Open University from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Cisco Networking (CCNA) degree in Computer Networking. Additionally, Dawson has obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Security+ ce (2016), CCNA (2017), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) (2019), ATT&CK® Cyber Threat Intelligence Certification (2021), and Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK (2022).
