Forest Enterprises is one of New Zealand’s leading full-service forest management and investment services companies. Since 1972, we have been helping New Zealanders grow their wealth through affordable direct investments in some of New Zealand’s most exceptional Radiata pine plantation forests, and by expertly and sustainably managing these forests from establishment to harvest. 

We have more than 20,000 hectares under management in the Wairarapa (40%), Gisborne (50%) and Hawkes Bay (10%) owned by more than 6,500 individual investors. We also manage another 15,000 hectares of New Zealand forestry on behalf of an international institutional forestry investor. 

Forest Enterprises holds Forest Stewardship Council Forest Management and Chain of Custody certification, meaning our forest management practices meet FSC's high international standards for responsible forest management. Ours are the only managed investment schemes in New Zealand that are FSC certified.

As we respond to the requirements of our growing business, especially harvesting, our team is now 31 strong including a team of 4 in Gisborne. Our head office is in Masterton, where we began nearly five decades ago.

Forest Enterprises is the business name of Forest Enterprises Growth Limited and its subsidiary Forest Enterprises Limited. Forest Enterprises Limited is licensed under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 to manage Managed Investment Schemes (excluding managed funds) which are primarily invested in forestry assets.
